Singapore: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today met Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, K. Shanmugam, on the sidelines of the 3rd ASEAN-GCC Ministerial Meeting scheduled to be held on 11 Jun 2014 in the Republic of Singapore.
Foreign Minister hailed the solid bilateral relations between the two countries in various areas.
He commended Singapore’s move to host a workshop comprises representatives of GCC private and government sectors on the one hand and their ASEAN counterparts on the other hand, which highlights the depth of GCC-ASEAN bilateral relations.
A Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides was signed on developing political consultations to contribute to strengthening bilateral relations, which reflects Bahrain’s resolve to reinforce relations with Asian countries.
