MANAMA: Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro praised the efforts carried out by services and commercial institutions that aimed to enhance Kingdom’s image and consolidate its economic strategic position in the region.
This came during a visit with a number of Ministry’s official to Kempinski Hotel where he was received by hotel general manger Boniet Singh, who appreciates the continuous visits made by the minister to stand on the latest development of hotels.
He stressed in this regard high occupancy rate especially on weekends with visitors form GCC and other countries. He also noted that occupancy rate for the month of May increased by 65% compared to May of last year.
The Minister praised the outstanding services provided by the economic facilities in the country, which have a high added value to the national economy. He praised at the same time hotels sector in Bahrain, which is one of the most important foundations of tourism in the country.
