While all eyes are on Brazil and the FIFA World Cup, VIVA Bahrain brought a major football tournament to the country. VIVA presents the ‘Fanta Masters’ tournament organized by Power League Gaming (PLG) which will take place at Bahrain City Centre (BCC) on June 21st and 22nd.
Taking place in Bahrain for the first time, this leg of the region-wide ‘Fanta Masters’ will give aspiring Bahraini gamers the chance to test their skills on EA Sports FIFA 2014. With over 200 gamers expected to attend over the two days, the competition promises to be hot as contenders bid to make it into the final 16 and win a place in the regional final to be held in Abu Dhabi in July. The Million Player event will be held at the Al Jazeera Sports Club where more than 50,000 players will compete for a prize pool exceeding BD 150,000, with the winner walking away with AED 1,000,000.
The Fanta Masters presented by VIVA kicked off on Friday, June 20th at Bahrain City Centre. The 16 finalists will battle it out on Saturday in the BCC Galleria followed by the prize giving ceremony that will take place after the end of the tournament, starting 7pm.
