MANAMA: The Chairman of the Shura Council’s Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain’s leadership and people attentively follow up the situations in Palestine, and feel sorrow and remorse for what’s happening to the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip as a result of Israeli targeting of unarmed Palestinian civilians and children.
Shaikh Khalid reiterated the Kingdom’s official supportive stance vis-à-vis the Palestinian issue and exertion of more efforts aimed to ensure peace and creation of the Palestinian State with its capital in Al-Quds, stressing his country’s continuous support to the Palestinian people in all fields, stressing the condemnation of Israel’s aggression, its killing of civilians and causing catastrophic damage as a result of Israel’s excessive, unmatched use of military force against civilians.

He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting the Conference of Palestinian State’s Ambassadors in Arab Countries reflects the solid bilateral relations and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s supporting the just cause of the Palestinian people which is the key issue of the Arab nation.
Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said that supporting the Palestinian cause constitutes a pivotal part of Bahrain’s foreign policy. He cited the Royal care in hosting the Palestinian Ambassadors’ Conference which bespeaks of the Kingdom’s keenness towards the Palestinian siblings and their just cause, pointing out that the conference gains a significant importance as it is convened during critical political circumstances, hoping that the conference accomplishes the interests of the brotherly Palestinian people.
