MANAMA: Preserving citizen’s rights and offering equal opportunities are essential in order to ensure the Kingdom’s ongoing development.
This was stated by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister visited the majlises of the Al Fadhala, Al Rumaihi and Al Kaabi families.
His Royal Highness stressed that the strengthening of principles that He highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to these principles, as outlined in His Majesty King Hamad’s reforms and development inititive.
His Royal Highness added that participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections is a universal right protected by the constitution, and will serve to increase the Kingdom’s political development, and highlighted how reinforcing unity within Bahrain’s society will safeguard the Kingdom’s pursuit of national interests that serve all Bahrainis.
His Royal Highness underscored the role of the close bonds of Bahraini families in reinforcing unity among Bahrain’s wider community, as well as the principles of mutual respect that guide the exchange of opinion and thought.
His Royal Highness emphasised that social unity is especially important across GCC countries. This commitment to deep cooperation and coordination among GCC countries, he said, can be demonstrated by the GCC Development Programme which supports various infrastructure projects in Bahrain.
His Royal Highness affirmed that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Development Programme will support expenditure on key development projects and better serve the Kingdom’s local communities.
His Royal Highness added that these development projects will help create an infrastructure conducive to further development in the future, in line with the Kingdom’s focus on sustainable economic growth and improved productivity.
His Royal Highness extended his best wishes to the people of Bahrain during the holy month of Ramadan, and highlighted the role of Ramadan Majlises in increasing interaction among Bahrain’s society. His Royal Highness went on to express his pleasure in meeting a wide range of Bahrain’s society during his visits.
