Awali: The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) announced on Tuesday that it had made a world-class performance achievement in reliability standards.
“For the first time since the introduction of the Refinery Reliability Clock, Bapco has achieved 360 continuous days without a clock reset,” Bapco in a statement said.
“Not only has the refinery operated without a single RRC reset for one full year, two of its operating sections (South Process and North Process) have now surpassed two years without a reset. Bapco further said that the world-class performance is a true reflection of the dedication and commitment of its employees and focus of its core business departments.”
“Over the past year there have been several occasions when we were faced with problems that could have led to an unplanned shutdown. However, our people have found innovative solutions to fix the problems and maintain safe operations. We have done so without compromising on any of our EHS or corporate values”, the Company added. “These are indeed remarkable accomplishments that are comparable to the very best in our business. It is a true testimony of the high workmanship and professionalism that our people possess”, the Company added.
“The achievement is in line with Bapco’s ongoing efforts to foster the culture of safety in the society.”
