MANAMA: The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce (BCCI) applauded the upcoming Bahrain Health Insurance Forum and Exhibition set to be held in December 2014.
The health and medical services sector committee, insurance and banking sector committee, and promotion, exhibition and conferences sector committee of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted Prof. Faisal Abdullatif Al-Nasser Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine in the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for organizing “Bahrain Health Insurance Forum and Exhibition.”
The meeting was held at Bait Al Tijjar and discussed the Forum chaired by Adel Al Aali Chairman of the insurance and banking sector committee.
Al Aali highlighted the salient features of the initiative which aimed at educating the citizens about the National Health Insurance Programme, which was consented by the Cabinet. In addition, a number of the Chamber’s recommendations which shall be discussed in the forum were highlighted, and the participating committees expressed their keenness for cooperating with the organizers of the Forum in order to spread awareness about the National Health Insurance Programme.
Prof. Faisal Al Nasser paid tribute to the Chamber and its committees for their endeavor in promoting the economy of Bahrain.
