MANAMA: The Cabinet on Sunday approved a memorandum seeking certain criteria for granting bonuses to the boards or heads of entities.
The Official Government Spokesperson and State Minister for Information Affairs Sameera Rajab after the weekly Cabinet meeting told reporters that the Cabinet approved the memorandum presented by His Excellency of the Deputy Prime Minister, Vice-President of the Civil Service Bureau on the criteria and rules for granting bonuses to the heads and members of government boards and committees.
“Bonuses given to the heads and members of government boards and committees should be under a law, decree or decision issued by the Prime Minister,” she added.
“The memorandum also specified the responsibilities of the relevant government entities and the procedures for the implementation of Decree No. (19) of 2014 on bonuses granted to the heads and members of government boards and committees.”
