ISLAMABAD: Sheikh Rashid Ahmed a leading politician and sitting MNA addressing the tens of thousands of participants of Freedom Rally demanded immediate resignations of the sitting Prime Minister Mian Mohammed Nawaz Sharif and his brother Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
Sheikh Rashid applauded the leadership of Imran Khan and thousands of PTI rally participants who after 40 hours of journey were still awake to listen to their leaders’ speeches. The rally was also marred by heavy rains in the federal capital Islamabad.
He also demanded resignation of the Prime Minister and his brother Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif and condemned both leaders for spearheading a systematic corruption system including introducing commission culture in running the day to day affairs of the government.
“I’ve never seen such rally in my entire political career which shows the will of the people who wants to get rid of the corrupt system,” he said.
