Manama: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace the Speaker of the Pakistani National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and his accompanying delegation comprising representatives of various parties and parliamentary blocs.
HRH Premier expressed satisfaction over the steady-growth of the Bahraini-Pakistani relations at all levels thanks to the solid outstanding deep-rooted ties bonding the two countries’ leaderships and peoples.
He affirmed the kingdom’s interest in strengthening the exiting cooperation with friendly Pakistan in order to achieve common interests, within a framework of mutual understanding and respect.
He stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation among the legislative bodies in the Islamic countries in order to boost rapprochement among them and open up new horizons of cooperation that will benefit all.
He highlighted the importance of intensifying exchanged visits between officials from the two countries in order to coordinate on cooperation issues of joint interest.
The Speaker of the Pakistani National Assembly lauded the role played by HRH Premier in consolidating bilateral relations.
He affirmed his country’s keen desire to upgrade ties with Bahrain at all levels in order to meet the expectations of the two countries’ leaderships and peoples, expressing hope that bilateral relations will progress further in the coming period.
