Riyadh: Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa lauded the historic and strategic relations between Bahrain and the USA, stressing Bahrain’s unwavering stance and constant keenness to be part of regional and international efforts in fighting and eradicating terrorism.
This came at a meeting with the US Secretary of State John Kerry on the sidelines of a regional meeting with the USA which convened in Jeddah, KSA, to discuss means of confronting terrorism.
The US Secretary of State praised strong historic ties binding Bahrain and the USA, commending Bahrain’s commitment to maintaining its effective role in backing regional and international efforts to safeguard regional security and stability.
Both sides reviewed bilateral relations and their progress in various fields and discussed the main issues on the regional meeting’s agenda. They also spotlighted the latest regional and international developments.
