Manama: In line with its continuous endeavours geared to foster the sporting sector in the Kingdom, the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) has sponsored the 5th edition of the Bahraini Super Cup football tournament.
For the first time in the history of the event, the tournament will be known as the Bapco Super Cup, as Bapco has earned the right as title sponsor of the event.
Present at the sponsorship presentation ceremony was Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa President of the Bahrain Football Association, and from Bapco, its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Adel Khalil Almoayyed, General Manager Human Resources and Administration Ghassan Al Muhanna, and Chairman of the Bapco Sports Committee Abdul Redha Haqiqi.
Bapco’s sponsorship of this prestigious national football gala falls in line with the company’s key interest in nurturing the sporting spirit and particularly the sport of football in the Kingdom.
