Awali: The 3rd PMI AGC-DMS Energy Forum: Debates event was officially opened by the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco)’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Adel Khalil Almoayyed.
The annual two-day event, where Bapco participated as a diamond sponsor, was held in its third edition at the Gulf Hotel in Manama and included various key partners and participants from around the region as well as the international scene.
Following the inauguration, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa, CEO Nogaholding delivered a Gala Dinner Speech discussing PMI, before which Hashim Al Rifaai, President PMI AGC addressed attendees.
Bapco’s participation also included a keynote speech delivered by Chief Executive Dr. Peter Bartlett and discussions were made by senior Bapco officials.
The annual event included key partners and participants from around the region as well as the international scene and discussed various important issues facing project and construction management in the GCC region. The debate included the participation of project owners, engineering and construction companies, as well as numerous service providers. It also served as an ideal platform for energy companies in the region and encouraged them to converge with the aim of exchanging ideas on their policies for contracting strategies.
