Manama:Batelco, Bahrain’s leading Telecommunications Company, emerge the 1st telecom company in the GCC to open a Drive Thru shops.
The new Drive Thru shop, which is open from 9am to 10pm, seven days a week, islocated at Salmabad Petrol Station near the AMA University, with very easy access from the highway.The innovative new retail point will provide total convenience for local residents and passing traffic as well as those at the nearby university campus.
Batelco’s Drive Thru was officially opened on Thursday 18 September by Batelco Group CEO& Acting Bahrain CEO Alan Whelan and Consumer Division General Manager Muna Al Hashemi, who cut the ribbon to launch the innovative new venture. A number of Batelco’s management and staff attended the inaugural event.
The Drive Thru Shop has been designed to meet the highest standard of telecom retailing and provides a wide range of Batelco’s products and services including Broadband, Mobile Services &Devicesand Fixed Lines. On the occasion of the shop opening, some very special offers will be available exclusively at the Drive Thru,for the first customers.
Mr. Whelan said that he was proud of Batelco’s achievement in being first to open a drive thru shop for its customers.
“We continuously seek to provide the best telecom experiencesfor our customers and believe that the addition of a drive thru shop in this area, which has a large residential population as well as a thriving university campus, will be a great benefit for our customers,” he said.
Besides the new location in Salmabad, Batelco’s Retail Shops can be found in 19other locations across the Kingdom, including Airport; Arad; GOSI; BCC; Seef Mall; Bahrain Mall; City Centre; Hamad Town; Isa Town; University of Bahrain; Sitra Mall; Enma Mall; Al Hayat Mall; Saar Mall; The Centre; Country mall’; AlMurjan Centre; Ramli Mall and Hidd Mall.
Batelco also boasts a Mobile Van, complete with a full range of Batelco’s products and services onboard. The iconic branded shop on wheels can be found at major events across the Kingdom.
Additionally, Batelco has a presence in five BBK Financial Centres around the Kingdom that include Riffa; Budaiya; Exhibition Road; Al Hala and Adliya.
