MANAMA: The Cabinet on Sunday discussed the memorandum presented by the Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Deputy President of the Ministerial Committee for Legal Affairs, on the registration of the land granted to the Kingdom of Bahrain by the Republic of Sudan, following the review of the land document by the Ministerial Committee for Legal Affairs.
The Official Government Spokesperson and State Minister for Information Affairs Sameera Rajab post weekly meeting told reporters that the Ministry of Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning will, and in coordination with the concerned parties, take the legal action needed to document the agreement signed on the 25th of June 2013 between the Northern State of the Republic of Sudan and the Kingdom of Bahrain concerning the investment of the agricultural land granted to the Kingdom.
The Cabinet decided to refer the matter to the Ministerial Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs for further study.
