Bentley for Men Absolute was created by one of the world’s most famous perfume makers Michel Almairac. He has been working for Robertet, the world’s leading fragrance house for exclusive, natural fragrance compositions, in Grasse and Paris, France, for many years.
“I wanted to express the strong, authentic side of the Bentley brand in this fragrance, while also bringing out its timelessness. I therefore focused on woody notes, which have strength and unique character. This is also why I chose precious agar wood for this composition,” Michel Almairac, said.
The luxurious oud in Bentley for Men Absolute fulfils the promise of the word “absolute”. This resin, which has a beguilingly sensuous, mysterious fragrance, comes from evergreen trees native to Asia. It is among the most expensive raw materials in the world and highly valued by international perfume connoisseurs. Men (and women) find the fragrance of this “smoky gold” irresistible. And all the more so in Bentley for Men Absolute, where agar wood is part of an exquisite fragrance composition.
The top note of Bentley for Men Absolute surprises, with a spicy cocktail of fresh ginger and pink peppercorns, and a hint of mystical frankincense. The fragrance announces its uncompromising extravagance within just a few seconds. After several minutes, the heart note unfolds, with elegant woody aromas of papyrus, Atlas cedar and sandalwood – extremely powerful and masculine. The base note includes the most seductive essences in the world of fragrances: beguiling Oud, surrounded by sensuous ambergris and elegant harmonies of moss.
The bottle of Bentley for Men Absolute is glossy black, and its graceful, timeless shape recalls the elegant curves of a Bentley limousine. Black is used consistently, as the colour of sophistication. The metal cap features a diamond-cut band, emphasising the luxury character of the fragrance.
The striking Bentley signet, the “Flying B”, is embossed on the bottle’s shoulder and also adorns the front of the box – black on black. The new men’s fragrance Bentley for Men Absolute is available as a limited edition exclusively in the Middle East from September 2014.
