Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr Hassan Abdullah Fakhro visited the Manama Central Market to ensure the availability of enough quantities of vegetable and fruits that are with high demands during Eid Al Adha.
He was briefed by Ridha Al Bustani, who is one of major vegetables and fruits investors on the latest and the demand and supply , especially during these days to meet the requirements of Eid, noting the arrival of around 45 trucks of vegetables and fruits from different countries, each carrying more than 22 tons of products.
The Minister expressed appreciation of the positive steps taken by investors and local businessmen of verifying imports and provides more facilities for consumers.
