Manama: The General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science on Tuesday said that the report in a local newspaper of Taliban in Afghanistan accusing the United States of arresting two of its leaders in Bahrain was untrue.
The General Director said that upon the men’s arrival in Manama on Sunday October 12, the authorities at Bahrain International Airport identified the two men as suspects. They were questioned and legal procedures were taken. They were then returned to Qatar, which was the destination they came from, on the next available flight no GF525
