MANAMA: The Gulf Aluminium Council (GAC) Safety Awards were held on the sidelines of the Arabal 2014 in recognition of the companies’ contribution to a sustainable Gulf region.
GAC Environmental Awards went to Ma’aden for Smelter Category and Midal Cables for Downstream Category, while GAC Health and Safety Awards went to Alba for Smelter Category and Gulf Extrusions for Downstream Category.
Arabal 2014, under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is being held under the theme “GCC: An Aluminium Power House” from November 25 to 27, at Gulf Hotel, Kingdom of Bahrain. More than 30 speakers including world-renowned industry leaders are key participants of Arabal 2014, participated in workshops, and panel discussion.
