MANAMA: Thousands of people from all walks of life accorded a historic welcome to HRH Prince Khalifa, the Prime Minister who returned from abroad after a medical checkup.
Festivities and joy prevailed in the Kingdom to mark the return of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who was welcomed on Thursday upon arrival by crowds of citizens.
The citizens’ warm welcome of HRH Premier showcased their happiness and joy over his safe return to the kingdom, following the successful medical tests he had undergone recently.
The popular festivities were a token of gratitude to HRH Premier, being a beloved iconic national leader who enjoys a distinguished status in the hearts of all Bahraini citizens.
HRH Premier greeted the citizens, who rallied to salute him on his safe return.
He expressed deep pride, appreciation and thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his noble feelings and keenness to get assured about him while abroad.
He also thanked GCC leaders for the brotherly feelings they had expressed when they called him.
He greeted the citizens, from all social segments, who came to celebrate his return to Bahrain, noting that their joy and warm welcome reflect the outstanding relations between the leadership and the people in Bahrain.
He stressed that the feelings showcased by the huge crowds of citizens prove the existing cohesion and solidarity among Bahrainis.
He expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the citizens for their cordial feelings towards him.
“Today, we are resolved, more than ever, to carry on the nation-building march steadily, under the leadership of HM the King, in order to achieve more progress and development in various fields to meet the aspirations of our dear people,” he said.
He pointed out that the patriotic feelings and national cohesion will consolidate the requirements of the new phase of national action and ensure its success.
