MANAMA: Bahrain Bourse (BHB) will organize on Saturday, 10th of January 2015 the second awareness sessions on “The Essentials of Saving and Investment” going in line with its efforts to spread and increase investment awareness among Bahrainis and non-Bahrainis in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The sessions will be conducted in English and Arabic, in which the English session will be held from 8 am to 12 noon, and the Arabic session will be held from 1pm to 5pm.
The sessions will cover various topics, including the importance of savings and alternatives available in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as the investment products available to investors in the Kingdom. The sessions will also highlight the concepts of risk and return, and educate participants on how to build their investment portfolios and read financial statements. The sessions will conclude with an introduction on Bahrain Bourse and the different sectors of companies traded at the Bourse.
A group of highly qualified professionals from BIBF will conduct the sessions that will take place at Bahrain Bourse’s premises at Bahrain Financial Harbour. Bahrainis and non-Bahrainis can register to attend the sessions by filling an online registration form through Bahrain Bourse’s website: www.bahrainbourse.com.
“This initiative comes in line with the Bourse’s strategy that aims to develop the different aspects of work at BHB, in which investment awareness is one of its main pillars,” Bahrain Bourse in a statement said.
It is worth mentioning that the sessions will be conducted on a monthly basis where 56 participants registered last month.
