MANAMA: As part of its supporting role in fostering different sport activities, the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) has recently sponsored Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) sport events for season 2014/2015. In this regard, Manager Awali Services Acting Manager Public Relations Saeed Abdul Rahman received BRR Chairman Khalifa Al Najem.
Abdul Rahman presented the sponsorship cheque to Khalifa Al Najem and stressed on Bapco’s important role in helping to promote a healthy, active lifestyle at all levels in the Kingdom of Bahrain, be it in sport or community endeavors, expressing Bapco’s pride in its continued support to BRR, which emphasizes company’s contribution to enhancing and promoting the welfare of Bahraini youth.
He further added that collaborations with organisations such as the Bahrain Road Runners reflects Bapco’s keen desire to foster Bahrain’s sporting arena as part of its continued role as a key supporter of the overall development of the Kingdom. During the meeting, Abdul Rahman hailed BRR role is organizing sport activities which contribute in fostering the sport sector towards fulfilling the Kingdom’s aspired goals and development of sport sector. A number of key issues were discussed during the meeting especially the BRR’s sport activities programmed for the coming season.
