Huawei to operate Menatelecom’s end-to-end operations

MANAMA: Menatelecom has signed a partnership agreement with Huawei, under which Huawei will manage the end-to-end operations of Menatelecom’s networks, and will ensure the support of high-levels of network performance in order to provide Menatelecom’s customers with superior experience.

The agreement was signed between Abdul Razak Jawahery, Menatelecom Chairman and Paul Mercer, Menatelecom Vice-chairman and Zhouqingwei, VP of Huawei Middle East region and Fengnan, Huawei Bahrain country manager. Under the agreement, Huawei will continue providing support services around the clock for Menatelecom’s networks, managing the operation and maintenance of Menatelecom Wimax and 4G LTE networks.

“Customer experience is a key consideration for us as we look to expand our capabilities. Menatelecom is committed to developing its networks in the Kingdom in order to provide the best and latest services. We strongly believe in the importance of investing in the latest technology, and meeting the highest international standards in the field of communications.” He added, “Huawei, backed by its global presence and expertise in networking and maintenance operations, would be able to provide the best support to ensure that the most advanced networks are available to serve Menatelecom’s customers. This partnership will allow the company to develop the services it provides to customers and offer levels that are beyond what is currently witnessed in the telecommunications market,” Menatelecom’s Chairman expressed his pleasure at signing this deal, said.

“We are proud of this extended partnership with Menatelecom, and we believe this relationship will bring long-lasting value to the customers and enterprises in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

“This relationship will allow Menatelecom to focus on achieving faster growth in the Bahraini market through more customer-centric offers by leveraging on the technology platform available to Menatelecom. We are pleased to expand our footprint in Bahrain through this partnership, and look forward to further collaborations with Menatelecom in the future,” Zhouqingwei, Huawei Middle East VP, added.

To provide better services for the maintenance of networks, and to provide the best experience in customer service, Huawei is advancing its global expertise of specialists in the area of services, with superior skills in the field of information and communication technology. Such an agreement strengthens the cooperation between Huawei and Menatelecom and opens up new possibilities toward more global coordination and cooperation between the two companies.

Menatelecom provides Home broadband and full Business Solutions including shared and dedicated business broadband services using its fiber optics network.
