MANAMA: With $1 trillion is held by elite rich class in the Middle East, the region saw the fastest growth in terms of both the ultra-high net worth (UHNW) population and wealth last year, for the second year in a row, according to the 2014 Wealth-X and UBS World Ultra Wealth Report.
“The region’s UHNW population swelled to 5,975 individuals with a combined net worth of almost US$1 trillion, a 12.7% and 13.1% increase since 2013, respectively,” the report revealed.
Global Chief Investment Officer for UBS Wealth Management, Mark Haefele will visit Dubai and present UBS’s annual CIO Year Ahead report, this year entitled ‘A Diverging World,’ in first week of February.
