Gudaibiya Palace: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
The two leaders discussed local issues, especially the Kingdom’s landmark national achievement following the endorsement of the Representatives Council of the Government Action Plan (GAP).
HRH Premier lauded the crucial role played by HRH the Crown Prince in the preparation of GAP, and supporting and following up on the committee in charge of it, noting that GAP included an ambitious vision to upgrade the nation and meet the aspirations of its citizens for a decent and prosperous life.
HRH the Prime Minister said that after GAP approval by the Parliament, the government will embark on a new phase of nation-building and development, consolidation of the democratic practices and attainment of new achievements in all fields.
HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince affirmed that the kingdom’s constitutional and tools and institutions are the fruitful outcome of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s wise visions, which brought about a unique experience in the region, stressing the need to preserve Bahrain’s distinguished experience and optimise its achievements.
They pointed out that government-parliament consensus on GAP represents a success for Bahrain and its people, and reflect the resolve of all sides to consolidate the bases for an advanced democratic practice.
HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince stressed that consolidating security and stability, developing the economy, improving the living standards of the citizens and providing the vital needs for them in all fields top the priorities in the current phase.
