Berlin: On the sidelines of Bahrain participation in the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) 2015 Berlin
Minister of Industry and Commerce held talks with Omani Minister of Tourism.
Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Zayed R Al Zayani met with the Omani Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Nasser Al Mahrizi on the sideline of his participation in the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) 2015 Berlin, where they reviewed the latest development of the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Oman and ways to develop cooperation between the two countries in this aspect.
“Such meetings have a great impact to enrich the tourism sector in the Gulf countries and our participation in the International Tourism Bourse is an excellent opportunity to review that owned by the countries of the region and to identify successful global experiences,” the Minister said.
ITB Berlin is considered the most important annual event in travel and tourism sector and perfect place for companies working in this field to benefit from opportunities available. The participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain confirms its position as a tourist destination in the region through focusing on promoting its heritage and tourism potentials.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador to Germany Ibrahim Mahmoud Ahmed Abdullah and First Secretary Bader Alhulaiby.
