MANAMA: The Minister of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office the Ambassador of Italy to the Kingdom of Bahrain Alberto Vecchi and discussed with him possible avenues of cooperation.
During the meeting, the Minister and the Italian Ambassador highlighted means of cooperation between the two countries, where the Minister commended the distinguished relations between the two sides and the advanced Italian expertise in fields of works, urbanization, engineering and construction.
The Italian Ambassador also expressed pleasure at the thriving relations between Manama and Rome; commending the Ministry of Works’ efforts in improving infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Vecchi reiterated his country’s keenness to collaborate with Bahrain on various levels in relation to roads and sanitary projects; in light of Italy’s vast experience and international reputation in such fields.
