SANABIS: The Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Khaled Al Moayyed expressed his pride upon the 11th anniversary of hosting the Formula One Grand Prix in Bahrain.
“The F1 is a delightful sport event that has been hosted in Bahrain since 2004, and has had tremendous economic returns”. “The F1 is a very popular sports event to which fans from around the world flock to Bahrain to enjoy.”
Al Moayyed emphasized the role of the Formula One event in invigorating business activities in the country and providing international exposure and recognition to local businesses. He said “many opportunities await local businesses as tourists flock to Bahrain bringing with them purchasing power and high demand for goods and services”. He added “Businesses should seize this opportunity by launching promotion campaigns and offering their best goods and services”, and stressed “the occasion also comprises investment and partnership opportunities for the local businesses”.
