SEEF: Takaful International Company held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to review and approve the financial statements also based on majority recommendation new members were elected to the board of Directors for the next three years.
The new board comprises of Murad Ali Murad, Chairman; Khalil Ebrahim Nooruddin, Vice Chairman; Khalid Saoud Al Hasan, Othman Al Askar, Jamal Ali AlHazeem, Ebrahim Al Rayes and Ebrahim Hussain Aljassmi as the members of the board.
It is noteworthy to mention that Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) has recently acquired a 41% stake in the company and established itself as the major shareholder of Takaful International Company followed by the Bahrain Islamic Bank with increased holding of 22.75% and the Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation with 8.4%.
