MANAMA: The General Director of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security announced that tweets from outside Bahrain that claimed to be conversations between a male and female member of the Islamic State (IS) promoting fear and sedition were monitored.
The General Director requested that citizens and residents ignore rumors and threats, including those from anonymous sources. He said the Interior Ministry investigates these cases and takes full responsibility for the protection and security of the nation. He urged cooperation with police by reporting suspicious cases to 999.
