Terrorist bomb targets on duty police officer

MANAMA: The General Director of Capital Governorate Police announced that terrorists planted a bomb in West Ekar on Sunday. The device was detonated at 2:47 PM, targeting an on-duty police patrol that was securing roads in the area. One policeman sustained minor injuries and was referred to hospital.
An investigation was launched to identify those involved and bring them to justice. The Public Prosecution was notified.
