MANAMA: The Industrial sector committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) headed by second vice-chairman Mr. Abdulhameed Al Kooheji has recently held its regular meeting in Bait Al Tijjar.
The meeting centered on means of spurring small and medium enterprises of the sector and cooperating with prominent companies to empower and reinforce their standing in the market.
During the meeting, the committee discussed its visit to Asharqia Chamber of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (K.S.A) scheduled in September, and inviting major local companies and SMEs to attend the event and meet with their counterpart to strengthen liaison and probe opportunities for joint ventures. The committee also revealed its plan to hold an awareness-raising symposium on the Value Added Tax (VAT) this month.
