MANAMA: The Minister of Oil, HE Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received senior officials from BP Middle East lead by Mr. Christian Tabet, Managing Director, Robert Gerritsen, Commercial Director and Prasad Ayyakad, Operations Director.
The BP officials conveyed their congratulations to His Excellency on his recent appointment as the Minister of Oil. BP has a presence spanning many decades in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visitors thanked the Government for the opportunity to serve the Kingdom and to HE Sheikh Mohammed for his guidance and support.
HE Sheikh Mohammed thanked BP for its contribution to the development and operation of the excellent aviation refueling services at Bahrain International Airport. He said that BP’s continued involvement would be critical as BIA is currently involved in expansion of the airport to serve customers better.
BP officials reiterated their commitment to ensuring BIA remains a world class operation and discussed other areas for mutual cooperation.
