MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received newly-appointed Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and congratulated him on the royal trust to assume this national responsibility.
He hailed his competence, ambition and keenness on exerting all efforts to assume his duties as Southern Governor and serve his country and nation. He paid tribute to citizens for their good feelings and congratulations which, he said, reflects the new governor’s proximity to people and keenness on reaching out to citizens in all events.
The Premier hailed the crucial role of governorates as a key pillar which helps the Government assess citizens’ requirements and meet their needs. “The government agencies have clear directives to cooperate with governors to ensure citizens benefit premium services”, he said.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa expressed deepest thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on supporting the Southern Governorate. He pledged to spare no effort to be up to the royal trust and achieve HRH the Premier’s directives to reach out to citizens and follow up their needs and requirements.
