MANAMA: The second edition of Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2019) is taking place at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from October 28 to 30.
The event will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Its High Organising Committee is chaired by Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Major General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
BIDEC 2019 is expected to bring together participants from 60 countries from all over the world with full support from Bahrain Defence Force and other public institutions. After the great success of the first edition in 2017 with the participation of 180 companies from 39 states, BIDEC 2019 is expected to attract more than 200 exhibiting companies to showcase the latest military technology.
More than 60 delegations comprising senior international personalities will also attend the event which is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors during the three days. The exhibition will feature many activities including a warships exhibition, a live ammunition experience and snipers’ shooting.
