Manama: The Council of Representatives commended the efforts of the security agencies and the National Security Agency which succeeded in foiling two terrorists’ plots targeting two ATMs that belong to a national bank in Al Naim and Jidhafs in the Capital Govenorate.
The Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee condemned the cowardly terrorist act aimed at subverting security and stability and endangering innocent people’s lives.
Chaired by MP Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al Bouainain, the committee backed all legal and security measures to maintain national security and protect people, vital sites and achievements.
It stressed Bahrain’s resolve to continue its wide-ranging development march, led by His Majesty the King, adding that terrorist acts will not impede national efforts.
It said that the people of Bahrain, who stood with their leadership and their country in all crises, thwarted the evil plots, strengthened national unity, adhered to established national constants, and maintained social peace, would confront all terrorist acts and instigators.
