Diyar Al Muharraq: Dozens of families, shoppers, and visitors attended the OTOP Thai Festival, held at Thai Mart Bahrain, the Kingdom’s only Thai Asian Mall.
Thai Festival, coincided with the opening the first OTOP shop, OTOP by MEME, featuring Thai food, music and live performances.
OTOP is a One Tambon, One Product programme from Thailand and features to support unique locally made and marketed products of each Thai tambon all over Thailand.
The festival attended by Economic attaché Ms. Gorawan Ngernsilpachoke from the Royal Thai Embassy, media and friends, and also ribbon cutting ceremony of the OTOP MEME Shop held followed by fashion catwalk from famous bloggers in Bahrain.
The festival also included snacks and food selling in traditional Thai Boat and Thai traditional performance.
