Manama: As Comic-Con 2022 is returning for the first time since 2019; after its success in its previous editions, Zain Bahrain has announced its participation as the official esports and telecom sponsor in Bahrain’s “Comic-Con 2022,” to be held on the 28th and 29th of October at Bahrain International Circuit.
The telco will provide internet access through Zain Wi-Fi for the event attendees and the gaming area. It will offer prizes for the winners of the esports competitions and a total prize of $5000 for the PUBG tournament held at the event which is an official tournament approved by Tencent Games. In addition, Zain had a stand during the two days of the event to showcase their services. It will also call all the winners of its first successful ranked Esports Summer Championship that was held this summer to attend the event to collect their cash prize during the event.
Comic-Con Bahrain will feature Hollywood movie studios and international gaming companies with the participation of many painters and exhibitors from various Arab and international countries. Many esports competitions will be held during the event, such as “Valornet” and “Counter-Strike” championships. It will also include a variety of workshops, such as writing scenarios. It will also support local gamers, game developers, and signing sessions with the attendee’s favorite top-tier celebrities.
Zain Bahrain says it will continue to play a significant regional role as an enabler of esports, to grow the gaming ecosystem collectively, and give gamers the support and recognition they deserve to compete globally.
