Manama, Mahmood Rafique, Editor: Hilton Garden Inn Bahrain Bay on Saturday celebrated the 2nd anniversary with a resounding success by achieving a sustained business.
“Hilton Garden Inn recorded 50 per cent of occupancy for the first six months of our operations which grew to 60 per cent in the first year,” Manuela Brode, General Manager, told The24X7News Bahrain (www.twentyfoursevennews.com) on the sidelines of the hotel’s 2nd anniversary celebrations on Saturday.
“Upon completion of two years the occupancy reaching 70 per cent which surges to 100 per cent during the weekends,” she said, adding that with the upcoming expansion of The Avenues the business would get further boost.
Talking about Bahrainisation she said that they have 30 per cent very talented staff serving in various positions in the hotel.
“We have very good working relationship with the Ministry of tourism and Bahrain Exhibitions and Tourism Authority (BETA), and overall government tourism policy serves as a catalyst to business of hospitality sector in the Kingdom.
“Today marks two years since the opening of Hilton Garden Inn, Bahrain Bay. Our goal has been to provide our guests with a unique experience from the very beginning. As we celebrate this day, I thank our hotel dedicated team and guests from around the world for the trust they have shown us over the last 2 years. We are thrilled to have our first hotel guests joining this special event in person.
The last two years have been a wonderful success and we thank all stakeholders for their continues support. We managed to win several awards internal and external, we are particularly proud to be named as Great Place to Work Top 10 in Bahrain.”
