Abu Dhabi: A Bahraini shown jumper Shaikh Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa has won at the AlShiraa Horse Show in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
In a dominant performance for the National colors Shaikh Hassan racked up a win, two podiums, and some FEI World Ranking points to boost in the prestigious CSI four- and two-star Al Shiraa Horse Show.
The win came riding his home bread HBR Even Flow in the 125cm speed class with over 100 starters including Olympic and top 100 ranked riders from around the world. Shaikh Hassan was also 6th in the GP qualifier on Thursday.
In the Grand Prix on Saturday the national show jumper picked up valuable FEI World Ranking points by finishing amongst the top fifteen. Shaikh Hassan thanked BREEF Chairman HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his continued support of the equestrian sports and particularly show jumping.
“This is a very special win and some very special results for Bahrain show jumping. I thank BREEF Chairman HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for supporting us riders to go to these shows and having the opportunity to win for the flag and BREEF,” he said.
