The American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham) during its annual general assembly unanimously elected Hamid Rashid Al Zayani was elected as the new President of AmCham, Bahrain.
The meeting also approved the other agenda and programme for the year 2010 and also elected the new board which include: Ahmed Jawaheri, First Vice President; Badea Esbai, Second Vice President; S. Myrna Saliba, Vice President (Membership); Mazen Manna, Vice President (Programme); Nabeel Ajoor, board member and Naser Al Arayed board member.
Hamid Al Zayani wished Amcham continued growth and development to enable it to serve the interests of both the United States of America and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The newly elected board also met with Stephanie Williams, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of United States of America and discussed with her on developing the trade relations between the two countries and effective use of the US – Bahrain Free Trade Agreement by businesses in both the countries.
