Brigadier Al HassanThe Ministry of Interior Official Spokesperson Brigadier Tariq Al Hassan said that all procedures were undertaken regarding the suspected person that was apprehended in the early hours of Wednesday morning at Bahrain International Airport. The suspect was traveling from Yemen via Abu Dhabi and his final destination being the United Kingdom.
Brigadier Al Hassan said that the traveler was a British citizen from an Asian origin and that there was information related to him being involved in crimes of terrorism. Based on this all necessary procedures to ensure the safety of other passengers were taken and that the person would be released if it was found that he had no links with these crimes.
