The meeting also discussed the mechanisms for implementation of the national consensus dialogue views, securing the necessary beaches and coastal areas in order to develop the hotel and tourism industry, sports and entertainment, organize seasonal activities and functions and ensure the requisite budgets to ensure success and to liaise with the Ministry of Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs in its capacity as the official body responsible for implementation of these views. A joint committee has been set up with the respective authorities in order to implement the plan under preparation.
The meeting discussed the project for development of Suk Waqif, Manama Suk, Bahrain Gate and the plans which contribute into the formation of Manama Suk in addition to construction of car-parking lots in Muharraq City in order to make existing projects easily accessible.
