Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) in a statement said that it emploee Krishnendu Banerjee died as the result of an industrial accident on September 8, 2011.
The company didn’t reveal the details of the accident.
Krishnendu Banerjee joined Alba on May 11, 1996 and was working as an electrician in the Carbon Maintenance department. During his 15 years of service at Alba he was considered as a highly skilled technician and a loyal worker to the company.
His family was personally contacted by the representatives of the company about the tragic accident. In addition, all necessary communications have been made to the relevant authorities and a detailed investigation is underway. Krishnendu Banerjee is survived by his wife and two children.
