Prince Khalifa, who returned to Bahrain after a private visit to Thailand, received a rousing welcome at the Bahrain International Airport.
Senior members of the ruling family, senior officials and the Thai ambassador to Bahrain and large number of people were present receive HRH Prince Khalifa.
The welcome was a token of appreciation and in tribute to HRH the Prime Minister’s outstanding role in serving the nation and its people, many citizens gathered at the airport lifting Bahrain’s flag and slogans showing the strong bond between HRH the Premier and the Bahraini people as well as loyalty to the leadership.
HRH the Prime Minister thanked the citizens for their genuine and noble feelings which reflect love and reciprocal respect between the leadership and people.
“The Bahraini people have always been a model of unity and cohesion,” he said stressing that loyalty to the nation and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa is the way to achieve aspirations for growth and prosperity.
“Bahrain has been able to set a model to emulate of the modern state that works for the welfare of all people,” he added underlining the government’s keenness to continue the path of development while relying on a sound basis-the Bahraini people and their dedication and patriotism.
“This popular unity epitomizes the one-family spirit which has ever characterized the Bahraini people,” HRH the Prime Minister affirmed pledging to make every possible effort to further serve the nation.
Thousands of people lined up along the Muharraq’s airport-bound streets chanting expressions of love and respect to HRH the Prime Minister who greeted them stressing that words are incapable of describing such moments which embody the authenticity of the Bahraini people and their allegiance to the nation and leadership.
