HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa on Friday made a surprise visit to Bahrain City Centre to oversee the normalcy of the business and activities on the ground.
The Bahrain City Centre, one of the biggest and the most visited shopping malls in Bahrain, had been stormed by over 100 saboteurs and thugs in a failed attempt to terrorise the peaceful visitors, families, and shoppers.
The visit is in line with HRH the Premier’s keenness to reach out to citizens and ensure them security and stability.

It is also in harmony with the Government’s drive to provide all facilities and streamline procedures to boost the trading sector, hence the steadily- growing convergence of visitors and shoppers, from Bahrain and abroad on mega shopping centres.
HRH the Premier assured all people on Bahrain’s security and stability.
He reaffirmed the Government’s determination to ensure Bahrain’s stability, adding that the situation in Bahrain is improving steadily.
He also stressed the Government’s firm resolve to always reach out to citizens, gauge their needs and ensure their security and welfare.
Citizens and expatriates hailed HRH the Premier’s visit, which assures people and reaffirms Bahrain’s Status as an oasis of security and stability and a prized tourism destination.

HRH the Premier toured the shopping mall and was updated on promotional and recreational services.

He inspected the Bahrain City Centre bye-elections polling station and was briefed by Justice Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister and head of the High Elections Committee Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa on preparations for the bye-elections, scheduled to be held tomorrow-Saturday.

Information Affairs Authority President Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa also updated HRH the Premier on preparations to ensure media coverage of the polls and project the event to the world.

“Bahrain will witness bye-elections tomorrow for citizens to elect the candidates they consider as competent to represent them”, HRH the Premier said, praising the efforts of concerned authorities to ensure the event projects Bahrain’s political and democratic acknowledged strides in prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.

The Kingdom of Bahrain, HRH the Premier said, gears up for the future, confidently aspiring for a better tomorrow.

He paid tribute to Bahrain people for its allegiance to the wise leadership and firm commitment to national unity, describing loyal citizens as the Kingdom’s best asset.

He lauded sopping and recreational facilities at Bahrain City Centre, reiterating the Government’s commitment to promote trade and investment in the Kingdom.
