Ithmaar Bank’s Manama Souq branch, the twelfth branch in Ithmaar’s fast growing retail banking network, is located in Bab al Bahrain and has been operating since the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The inauguration ceremony marked the branch’s formal launch.
The Ceremony was hosted to emphasise the Bank’s determination to push ahead, with full force, with the implementation of an aggressive business expansion programme that has already seen the Bank expanding its network, improving its delivery channels and introducing new, customer-focused products and services.
“This expansion programme is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of Bahrain and to the continuous development of its Islamic financial services industry,” said Bucheerei. “It is a long-term commitment and, having played a pioneering role in the establishment of Islamic banking in the Kingdom, we continue to take it very seriously,” he said.
“The Manama Souq, specifically Bab al Bahrain, is central to Bahrain’s cultural heritage and remains an important hub for trade and commercial activity,” said Bucheerei. “In establishing our presence in this strategic location, we take another step closer to our customers as continue expanding our retail network in Bahrain,” he said.
