“In Bahrain, we are strong advocates of democracy, peaceful co-existence and reform, both in theory and practice, and the Kingdom’s progress and development marches will continue unabated,” the two princes said during their meeting at HRH Premier’s Court, affirming that reform reached out to and benefitted all segments of the Bahraini society.
They also pointed out that the National Consensus Dialogue engaged all social groups who agreed on what consolidates national interests, asserting that doors are still wide open for all those who want to join the reform march, chosen willingly by the Bahraini people.
They also said that all what has been achieved in the kingdom has been widely accepted and strongly backed by the Bahraini people, stressing that the outstanding “success of the National Consensus Dialogue, by-elections and the global support for the reform and progress marches are compelling evidence that the kingdom is on the right track.”
The two princes paid tribute the citizens for their patriotism and commitment to national responsibility, manifested during the by-elections, indicating that popular participation at the elections denotes Bahraini people’s strong belief that national unity is the best way to ensure the kingdom a better future.
After that, Deputy King and HRH Premier reviewed the latest regional and global economic developments, reiterating the kingdom’s resolve to support all national economic institutions so as to increase their productivity and competitiveness.
They vowed that the government will continue taking the necessary measures in order to consolidate national economic establishments’ position and competitiveness so as to enable them to withstand global economic challenges and their possible repercussions.
