His Highness briefed the attending banking and corporate directors on the latest developments and preparations regarding the upcoming Bahrain International Airshow to be hosted in Bahrain in January next year and invited the support from all sectors in order to ensure the success of the event in view of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as an important international economic, financial and business hub for the aviation sector which constitutes about 8% of the international GDP.
His Highness emphasized that the airshow this year attracts all international companies in the aviation sector with an approximate 95% of the exhibition space anticipated to be sold, pointing out that the Kingdom of Bahrain enjoys the trust from sisterly and friendly countries and international companies operating in Bahrain.
Directors of the banks and companies who attended the meeting listened to a presentation on the promotions and marketing opportunities throughout the Bahrain International Airshow 2012 in view of the large presence of senior official delegations, VIPs, businesspeople, international companies’ representatives, citizens, expatriates and local and international media coverage.
