The newly-appointed governor of the Capital governorate Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa submitted to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the noble trust and issuance of a Royal Decree appointing him as governor for the Capital governorate.
“It is my greatest pleasure and grateful for the highly noble trust and assignment from the wise leadership and I really hope to be worthy of the leadership’s trust and to be able to carry out the duties towards our beloved country and loyal people and to translate the leadership’s directives into substantial reality in order to serve the best interest of all Bahraini citizens and resident expatriates in line with the reformation project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain and in harmony with the progressive development and modernization plans laid down by the wise government of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister with support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander,” Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa said.
The governor pointed out in his statement that the Capital governorate embraces Manama City which is the economic capital and lifeline of the Kingdom of Bahrain that has gained its importance for being the Kingdom’s economic and financial hub inhabited by various spectrums of Bahraini citizens and resident expatriates and he pledged to work in collaboration and coordination with the various ministries, institutions and authorities to exhibit the image of our beloved Kingdom as commensurate with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s genuineness and as befits the prosperity, security and stability enjoyed by the people on this good land.
Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul-Rahman Al Khalifa also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Interior Lt. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for his trust, concernment and directives and hailed the Minister of Interior’s efforts in the various fields meant to realize security, stability and serenity for Bahraini citizens and resident expatriates.
Shaikh Hisham reiterated that he would continue in the path of his predecessors who assumed position of governor for the Capital governorate and expressed his readiness to cooperate and coordinate with the various competent authorities and institutions.
